    El Paso ISD announces Phase II meetings for district redesign

    EL PASO, Texas ( KTSM ) — The El Paso Independent School District (ISD) announced the upcoming community meetings for Phase II of the Destination District Redesign, the district announced in a press release on Wednesday, Aug. 21.

    The district says during Phase I, they presented key decision points for consideration and collected feedback from the community.

    Phase II will focus on “sharing the feedback received during Phase I and presenting a preliminary quality seat analysis, and campus facility profile, of elementary and PK-8 campuses.”

    The district has provided a schedule for the Phase II community meetings. Those are the following:

    • Aug. 21: Burges High School
    • Aug. 22: Chapin High School
    • Aug. 27: El Paso High School
    • Aug. 28: Irvin High School
    • Aug. 29: Jefferson/Silva High School
    • Sept. 3: Coronado High School
    • Sept. 4: Andress High School
    • Sept. 5: Austin High School
    • Sept. 9: Bowie High School
    • Sept. 16: Franklin High School

    All meetings will begin at 5:30 p.m. and are open to the public.

    “DDR is a commitment to ensure that every child in El Paso ISD receives a high-quality education, regardless of their background or circumstances. It sets forth standards of excellence, challenging us to reimagine the possibilities and to continuously raise the bar for educational achievement. This effort ensures that schools within El Paso ISD continue to provide exceptional learning experiences and opportunities for all students,” El Paso ISD said.
