    Williston Fire Department responds to afternoon clinic incident

    WILLISTON, ND ( KXNET ) — The Williston Fire Department rushed to the scene of a fire on the afternoon of Wednesday, August 28, after a mechanical malfunction at the Trinity Clinic.

    According to fire officials, at approximately 1:15 p.m., team members were dispatched to the clinic located at the 1300 block of West Dakota Parkway after reports of a commercial structure fire, followed by a call confirming that smoke was present on the building’s second story.

    Bismarck Fire Department called for garbage fire

    At 1:21 p.m., firefighters arrived, observed an evacuation, and confirmed the presence of smoke. The cause was determined to be a malfunctioning component in the HVAC system. Crews quickly isolated the malfunction and ventilated the smoke.

    In total, 25 firefighters responded to the scene. All were cleared from the area at 2:50 p.m.

    No injuries were reported during the event. The clinic’s services have resumed after repairs.
