Pueblo West hosting Blues, Brews and Barbecue

(PUEBLO WEST, Colo.) — Looking to take dad out for some good food and drinks in time for Father’s Day? Pueblo West is hosting its annual Blues, Brews, and Barbecue festival at Civic Center Park on Saturday, June 15 from 4 p.m. to 9:30 p.m.

This event is part of Pueblo West’s Summer Concert Series and will feature music by the bands The Blue Dogs and Bluez Kadillak, as well as a beer garden, a food truck rally, and games for the family.

The food truck rally is part of the “People’s Choice” award. For $7, participants can get a three-ounce sample of “chicken lollipops”—a type of chicken drumstick—from each of the six competitors and vote for their favorite. The winning food truck will earn the title of “Pueblo West People’s Choice” for best barbecue truck of 2024.

Admission for the Brews, Blues, and Barbecue event is $5 for kids ages 6 to 12, $10 for ages 13 and older, and free for children under 5. Those who buy their tickets here before June 14 at 3 p.m. will receive a free age-appropriate beverage per ticket. The cost of admission also includes the ability for kids to enjoy extended hours at the Civic Center Splash Pad from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m.
