(COLORADO SPRINGS) — Born and raised in Ohio, artist Knox left Ohio University in his sophomore year to move to Nashville to pursue songwriting.

After finishing song demos in 2022 his publisher suggested he should release the music as his own. Knox agreed to try one song and see how it went. His first release “Sneakers” became a viral hit, amassing 2 Million views overnight. The result was How to Lose a Girl in 7 Songs, Knox’s debut EP, released February 2023.

Knox’s first radio single is, “Not The 1975”. Knox wrote the song as a result of telling a person that he was a recording artist to which the person replied, “You may be good but you are no Matty Healy” the lead singer of the band The 1975.

Knox joined Loving Living Local host Nova sharing all the details about his weekend in Colorado with a handful of shows you can attend.

Knox is in Colorado Springs for a midday promotion with 98.9 Magic FM today (Friday, June 7)
tonight (Friday, June 7) you can see Knox perform at Brother’s Bar and Grill in Park Meadows Denver this evening Live @ 5 with Alice 105.9. On Saturday evening Knox will be performing at Taste of Fort Collins with Andy Grammer.
