Onalaska Post 336, La Crosse A's both see wins on day 1 of legion AA regionals

Onalaska Post 336 is hosting one of 7 Wisconsin Legion AA Regionals.

The winner will advance to the AA Legion State tournament hosted in West Salem.

In game 1 of the day, the La Crosse A's took on Arcadia Post 17.

The A's got off to an early lead, 2 Arcadia errors would lead to 3 first inning runs.

Then in the third inning, the A's would add three more including an RBI single off the bat of Tobin Parks.

The A's would add 3 more in the fourth and then 2 in the 6th as they would go on to win 11-4.

In game 2 of the day, Onalaska Post 336 took on West Salem Post 51.

Onalaska would take an early lead after an over throw on a steal would bring in the first run of the game.

Then in the fourth inning, Post 336 would add two more. One of the runs coming from a Carter Gillhausen RBI single.

Caden Pierzina would throw 6 & 2/3 inning giving up 0 runs on 5 hits as Onalaska would take the win 3-0.
