Iowans weigh in on state’s higher education future

While some students were headed to out-of-state colleges or directly into the workforce through a trade, half of the board was dominated by cards signaling one of Iowa’s public universities as students’ next step.

Carter Morton plans on 6th year at UNI
University of Northern Iowa track & field decathlete Carter Morton from Jefferson told Raccoon Valley Radio he plans on competing a sixth year for the Panthers. Morton, a 2020 Greene County High School graduate, medically redshirted both the indoor and outdoor seasons in 2023-24 due to ankle surgery last November.
