Northern Iowa Panthers 2024 Football Preview
With Northern Iowa football, there has been one constant for the Panthers in the 21st century: head coach Mark Farley, who is entering his 24th season in charge. He’s the second-winningest active coach in FCS (aka 1-AA) football with a 180-103 record. But after three straight six-win seasons, Farley is shaking things up with four new assistant coaches including new coordinators on both sides of the ball.
Young Family Foundation’s $400,000 gift leads way on UNI Wrestling Training Facility fundraising
CEDAR FALLS, Iowa --- The Young Family Foundation of Waterloo has announced a lead gift of $400,000 toward a new training facility for UNI's storied wrestling program. Mike Young, a director of the foundation, said the project is vital to the future of UNI wrestling and that he hopes the donation will help spur additional support for the training facility.

Carter Morton plans on 6th year at UNI
University of Northern Iowa track & field decathlete Carter Morton from Jefferson told Raccoon Valley Radio he plans on competing a sixth year for the Panthers. Morton, a 2020 Greene County High School graduate, medically redshirted both the indoor and outdoor seasons in 2023-24 due to ankle surgery last November.
