Paterson Man Charged with Murder in Jersey City Shooting
HUDSON COUNTY, NJ - A Paterson man has been arrested and charged with murder in connection with a fatal shooting that took place in Jersey City on Friday, May 10. As previously reported, shortly before 10:00 p.m. on the day of the incident, the Jersey City Police Department received a report of shots fired in the area of Pearsall Avenue and Garfield Avenue. Responding officers located a male victim – later identified as Resheed Wallace, 24, of Jersey City – with an apparent gunshot wound to the upper body. Orange County to Purchase Maple Avenue Building
CHESTER – On Monday, July 9, Orange County Executive Steve Neuhaus officially signed the resolution, entering into an agreement to purchase the Maple Avenue Building located in the Village of Chester. The future of the building has been under consideration for some time, including a failed referendum in 2019 until on July 2nd, the Orange County Legislature moved the process of acquiring ownership along with a unanimous vote.
