River otter responsible for multiple deaths at Lake Eola
A river otter was discovered in Lake Eola on Monday, July 15, unfortunately, the City of Orlando’s Families, Parks, and Recreation staff also found two Australian Black swans and one duck dead. The assumption is that the otter is responsible for the deaths of the swans and ducks though it was not caught on camera.
Orlando to Celebrate National Ice Cream Day with Sweet Deals and Free Scoops Across the City
This Sunday, July 21, the sweet tooth of Orlando will be appeased with an array of ice cream deals as establishments across the area celebrate National Ice Cream Day. According to ClickOrlando, former President Ronald Reagan initiated the holiday in 1984 and since then, it's become a day for ice cream lovers to relish discounts and free offerings. This year's hot spots include Dairy Queen, handing out free Dilly Bars with any purchase, and Kelly’s Homemade Ice Cream, halving prices on scoops for the afternoon.

New Eateries Coming To Clermont
According to a LongHorn Steakhouse representative, Longhorns Steakhouse will open in mid-October. In the meantime, the interior needs to be completed, and the staff needs to be trained. Known for its expertly crafted steaks, LongHorn Steakhouse will offer a variety of beef options; and for those who prefer something besides prime cuts of beef; the menu will include salmon, chicken, lobster tail, shrimp, and baby back ribs.

Orlando Cat Cafe: “Where The Cool Cats Hang Out”
