Two Women Charged with Multiple Offenses Following Fight. (WNY News Now) – Jamestown – On July 5, 2024, at approximately 1:07 AM, the Jamestown Police Department responded to a fight in progress on the city’s north side. Upon arrival, officers observed multiple individuals engaged in a physical altercation. After a thorough investigation, it was determined that Abigail C. Quinones and Samantha M. Bullock were allegedly central to the incident.
Jamestown Man Arrested After Bicycle Chase: Faces Drug and Resistance Charges
(WNY News Now) – Jamestown – A routine street check escalated into a pursuit ending in the arrest of a Jamestown resident with outstanding warrants. On June 29, 2024, at approximately 4:54 PM, officers from the 2nd platoon observed Marcelino S. Hernandez, a 42-year-old resident of Jamestown, operating a bicycle on the sidewalk near E 3rd St and N Main St. Recognizing Hernandez and aware of his outstanding warrants, the officers initiated a vehicle and traffic stop using emergency lights and sirens.
Domestic Dispute Leads to Multiple Charges in Jamestown
Jamestown Residents Arrested After Fleeing Domestic Incident. (WNY News Now) – On July 4, 2024, at approximately 4:26 PM, officers from the 2nd platoon responded to a domestic dispute in progress on the north side of Jamestown. The incident led to the arrest of Charles LS Cooper Sr, 18, and Anikka G. Coulter, 20, both residents of Jamestown.
Man Charged with Burglary After Unwanted Person Complaint in Jamestown
A report of an unwanted person on Jamestown's west side led to the arrest of a man for burglary and other charges. Jamestown Police were called to an undisclosed address shortly before 4:15 AM Wednesday and were made aware that the unwanted subject was 39-year-old Michael Hetrick, who had a valid order of protection to stay away from the address and the female victim who lives there. The victim told police that Hetrick entered her home without permission and would not leave. Officers discovered that during the incident, Hetrick allegedly held the victim down and placed his hand over her nose and mouth, causing her to be unable to breathe. Hetrick had left the scene before officers arrived but was located in a wooded area near the residence. He allegedly resisted arrest, but was taken into custody after a brief struggle. Hetrick was arraigned on felony charges of 2nd-degree burglary and 1st-degree criminal contempt, as well as criminal obstruction of breathing or blood circulation, unlawful imprisonment and resisting arrest. He is being held in the Chautauqua County Jail on $2,000 bail.

In the early hours of July 3, 2024, at approximately 1:18 AM, Chautauqua County Sheriff’s Deputies responded to a reported altercation in the Town of Portland, NY. Dunkirk Man Charged with Felony DWI After Crash in Pomfret
A Dunkirk man faces a handful of charges following a one-vehicle crash in the Town of Pomfret Thursday night. Chautauqua County Sheriff's deputies responded to the scene Concord Road just before 10:30 PM and were assisted by a Jamestown Police K-9 in locating the driver, 63-year-old Christopher Ley, a short distance off the roadway. Further investigation found that Ley was allegedly intoxicated. Deputies charged him with felony DWI, unlicensed operation, failure to stop at a stop sign, and consumption of alcohol in a motor vehicle. Ley will answer the charges in Pomfret Town Court at a later date.
Minnesota Man Faces Multiple Charges After DWI Incident in Sheridan
(WNY News Now) – Sheridan – A Minnetrista, Minnesota man is facing serious charges after a late-night motor vehicle accident on East Middle Road in the Town of Sheridan. On July 4, 2024, at approximately 10:50 PM, the Chautauqua County Sheriff’s Office responded to a reported motor vehicle accident on Pennsylvania Avenue in the Town of Sheridan. Upon arrival, deputies found a vehicle in a ditch on East Middle Road. The operator, identified as 38-year-old Daniel Edward Gallivan of Minnetrista, Minnesota, was located a short distance away from the vehicle.
