Fredonia Duo Charged in Stockton Burglary Probe
Two Fredonia men have been charged after an investigation into a burglary in progress Thursday afternoon in the Town of Stockton. Chautauqua County Sheriff's Office investigators were notified about the incident on Moon Road at about 12:30 PM. A Sheriff's Office K-9 unit arrived on scene and located two people stealing property. The suspects, 43-year-old Derek Saxton and 51-year-old Donald Tolbert, were both taken into custody and charged with 3rd-degree burglary and 4th-degree grand larceny. Saxton and Tolbert were both arraigned at the Chautauqua County Jail's centralized arraignment.
Jamestown Airport to Receive $23,243 Grant for Enhanced Fire Safety

Today, Congressman Nick Langworthy (NY-23) announced that Chautauqua County will receive a federal grant of $23,243 for the Jamestown Airport as part of the FY24 Airport Improvement Program (AIP) under the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA).
