Three Finger Lakes region colleges have received millions of dollars in grants for various projects, Gov. Kathy Hochul announced last week. Grants through the Higher Education Capital Matching Grant Program support construction and renovation of new laboratory and research spaces, the purchase of new instructional technologies and equipment as well as other investments. Campuses receiving the grants have to invest at least $3 of their own funds for every $1 of state funds they receive.
