Mosquito Spraying to Take Place Beginning Friday, July 5 – Euless
The City of Euless will be spraying for mosquitoes in five zones beginning Friday, July 5. During weekly testing of mosquito traps, the City of Euless received notification of five traps in Euless containing West Nile Virus positive mosquitoes. The City of Euless will be spraying for mosquitoes starting Friday, July 5, starting at 9:00 p.m. Zone 6, Zone 8, and Zone 9 will be sprayed on Friday, July 5. Zone 5 and Zone 7 will be sprayed for three consecutive nights, beginning Friday, July 5. Based on the recommendation of Tarrant County Public Health, the area directly around the positive mosquito samples will be sprayed. In the event of adverse weather conditions, spraying will be delayed until the following day. Mosquito spraying will be performed in the late evening while most of the city population is indoors.
