LAKE PLACID — It’s safe to say that Brian Moggre’s first-ever trip to Lake Placid has been pretty good so far. On the final day of the Lake Placid Horse Show on Sunday, June 30, Moggre, of Flower Mound, Texas, rode his horse MTM Vivre Le Reve to a first place victory in the $75,000 Lake Placid Horse Show Grand Prix at the North Elba Show Grounds.

Nine of the 10 will advance to the national ballot that will determine CSC's Academic All-America Teams, which will be announced July 16 (women) and 17 (men).

Frisco (6-4, 50-29) erupted for six runs in the bottom of the first inning in front of the second-largest crowd in franchise history (12,051), notching five hits as they sent 10 batters to the plate against Arkansas (6-4, 42-36) starter Reid VanScoter (4-7).

Frisco, TX—Down six runs early, the Arkansas Travelers fought nearly all the way back but fell to the Frisco RoughRiders, 7-6 on Thursday night. A 14 hit night for the Travelers offense was highlighted by seven doubles including two each from Harry Ford and Morgan McCullough. Victor Labrada also went 4-4 with a double and a walk in just his ninth Double-A game.
