The two-time defending WNBA champion Las Vegas Aces are moving their upcoming matchup against the Indiana Fever and rookie phenom Caitlin Clark to meet a surge in ticket demands, the New York Post reported on Monday (July 1) night.

The Aces, who play their home games at Michelob ULTRA Arena, will host the Fever at T-Mobile Arena Tuesday (July 2) night, which will increase their supply of tickets from 12,000 to 18,000. The ticketing service TickPick reported that it sold twice the number of tickets for the Fever-Aces game than the sum of tickets sold for Games 1 and 2 of the WNBA Finals at Michelob ULTRA Arena last year.

The tickets are also currently selling at a $92 "get-in" price, which is a 667% increase from the $12 minimum for the Aces' next home game against the Washington Mystics and the highest-price is $2,584 for four tickets in Section 15, Row 5, equaling $646 for each individual ticket.

Clark, 22, has averaged 16.2 points, 6.9 assists and 5.7 rebounds through her first 20 games, though the Fever have struggled with a 8-12 record, which included losing eight of their first 10 games in 2024. The former University of Iowa standout is the all-time leading scorer in NCAA basketball history and her collegiate dominance has led to a significant spike in the popularity of women's basketball.

The Fever have accounted for all of the five most-watched WNBA games since 2002, which includes their June 16 win against the Chicago Sky (1.3 rating and 2.25 million viewers) surpassing Clark's WNBA debut on ESPN2 Opening Night as the league's most-watched game since the 2001 Memorial Day matchup between the Los Angeles Sparks and Houston Comets, which totaled 2.44 million viewers.
