Aces' A'ja Wilson Trumps Breanna Stewart, WNBA Stars in Major Stat

This 2024 WNBA season has been one of the best seasons in league history thus far, as countless records are being broken, and incredible talent is being displayed. While much of the attention fell on the two star rookies, Caitlin Clark of the Indiana Fever and Angel Reese of the Chicago Sky, neither have come close to being the most impressive player this season.

The best player in the WNBA this season has been A'ja Wilson of the Las Vegas Aces, and it isn't close at all. Wilson has completely dominated across the board, and not a single player has come close to touching her.

In fact, the drastic difference between Wilson and the rest of the league is displayed in an incredible stat called Player Efficiency Rating, or "PER".

While PER can be a flawed stat catered to power forward or centers, it is used beautifully in this scenario. With it being an all-around stat, it displays how far the difference is between Wilson and even someone like Breanna Stewart of the New York Liberty. She is simply on another planet this season.
