PITTSBURGH (KDKA) -- A motorcyclist has died after colliding with another vehicle in downtown Pittsburgh on Sunday.First responders were dispatched to the scene at Grant Street and Boulevard of the Allies just before 9 a.m. Sunday after receiving reports of a collision between a motorcycle and a vehicle.A male motorcyclist was located on the down ramp of the Boulevard of the Allies, according to Pittsburgh Public Safety. Medics transported him to the hospital in critical condition, where he later succumbed to his injuries.The driver of the vehicle stayed at the scene to speak with police.An investigation is ongoing.
Woman Flown To Hospital After Route 8 Crash
One person was flown to a Pittsburgh hospital after a crash in Center Township Saturday afternoon. The accident happened on Route 8 North near the Butler Flea Market. State Police say that a vehicle driven by 21-year-old Athena Koutsouliou of White Oak was driving south when a vehicle driven by 27-year-old Kendall-Jem Brown was at the stop sign at Volkswood Drive.
Boy, 4, struck by vehicle in Crafton Heights
PITTSBURGH (KDKA) -- A 4-year-old boy is in the hospital after being hit by a vehicle in Pittsburgh's Crafton Heights neighborhood on Sunday evening, Pittsburgh Public Safety officials said.Pittsburgh police were called to the scene around 8:30 p.m. along Woodlow Street. The boy had been sitting in the vehicle, police said. He ran out of the vehicle and then was struck.He was taken by family members to the nearest hospital. Police said he was then taken to UPMC Children's Hospital for additional care and treatment. Doctors have listed his condition as grave, police said.The incident is being investigated.

Pittsburgh Police were dispatched to the scene of a shooting on Friday night, after receiving reports around 10:40 p.m. of gunfire in the 300 block of N. Fairmount Street in Garfield. According to the City of Pittsburgh public safety blotter, officers found shell casings upon arrival and were informed by a woman that her adult son had been shot while inside his vehicle. The son managed to quickly seek medical attention at the nearest hospital.

After all life saving efforts were rendered the infant was transported to UPMC Children’s Hospital in Pittsburgh. Tests showed the child tested positive for cocaine and cocaine metabolites.
