The Lehigh Acres Tax Collector’s office will move to 600 Homestead Road South.

A new state-of-the-art facility will greet people when they need to renew drivers’ licenses, make tax payments or register vehicles.

The Lee County Tax Collector will move to a new office at 600 Homestead Road South in Lehigh Acres.

The new location will open on Tuesday, March 19. Its 9,640-square-foot office is designed to be more efficient and comfortable for customers.

The office will offer the same services: property tax payments, driver licenses and ID cards, knowledge tests, titles and registrations, disabled parking permits, hunting and fishing licenses and birth certificates. HazMat fingerprinting will be added to the list of services later this spring.

“I am incredibly excited about the relocation of our Lehigh Acres office,” says Noelle Branning, Lee County Tax Collector. “This move underscores our dedication to serving the needs of our residents with exceptional levels of service from our knowledgeable staff.”

The current office on Lee Boulevard will close at 5 p.m. on Thursday, March 14, with the new office opening at 8:30 a.m. on March 19. During the transition, customers are encouraged to visit another branch office or complete their transactions online at LeeTC.com . ¦
