LEWISBURG W.Va. (Hinton News) – Carnegie Kids’ College is a two-week summer day camp for K-7th grades that offers young students amazing opportunities to explore the wonderful world of the arts through a curriculum of fun, engaging and creative STEAM-based workshops including Archaeology, shrink art, kitchen classes, drama and painting classes.

Students can register for the weeks of July 8-12 or 15-19 or choose to attend both. Young students who will be attending school in kindergarten or first grade in the fall can enroll for morning-only classes that rotate through a series of Music, Movement and Art classes that are designed to foster self-esteem, promote individuality, and provide in-classroom experiences for those new to group educational settings.

The K-1 classes offer small group sizes that allow young learners to build confidence in the classroom while engaging with their peer group, in addition to laying a solid foundation for future classroom participation.

Kids’ College is currently accepting limited registrations for the K-1 group for week two of the program, and students and families can learn more by accessing the Kids’ College brochure and registration page at www.carnegiehallwv.org.

Scholarship assistance is available for qualifying families for all age groups, and anyone interested in attending the program is encouraged to apply before the June 21 deadline.

For further information, please contact the Education Department at Carnegie Hall at 304-645-7917, or by email to education@carnegiehallwv.org.

Carnegie Hall WV is a nonprofit organization supported by individual contributions, grants, and fundraising efforts such as TOOT and The Carnegie Hall Gala. The Hall is located at 611 Church Street, Lewisburg, WV.
