The Georgia Bulldogs Will Be 2024 National Champions
After back-to-back National Championships, the Bulldogs had a “down year” in 2023 in which they missed the college football playoff. Even still, they went 13-1 and won their bowl game against Florida State by 60 points. For a down year, that was still pretty dang good. Kirby Smart once again has one of the best and deepest rosters in college football and Georgia looks to get back to the college football playoff, which expands to 12 teams this season. With all of that said, let’s take a look at the 2024 Georgia Bulldogs.
UGA Recruiting Notes: Multiple Top Targets Announce Commitment Date
ATHENS - After an outstanding month of June on the recruiting trail, Kirby Smart and the Georgia Bulldogs are likely to add several more commitments in July and into August. Dawg Post confirmed that four-star safety target Jaylan Morgan plans to make his commitment on July 8th, and sources tell Dawg Post that Georgia is the team to beat for the Rockvale (TN) standout.
Georgia Football: The worst coaches of all time
The Georgia Bulldogs are on top of the college football mountain seemingly ever since Kirby Smart arrived in 2016. After his first season in 2016 where the Bulldogs went 8-5, Smart has had double digit wins aside from 2020 where teams had a shortened schedule due to the pandemic. Smart’s...
Westminster Christian eighth grader leaves massive impression on varsity baseball team
David Norris got the chance to play baseball for a high school that he wasn't quite yet a part. Norris was an eighth grader at Westminster Christian Academy this past spring when he was brought up to the varsity baseball team by coach Juan Ranero as an infielder and pitcher. He was one of four eighth graders to work with the already young high school roster during the 2024 season.
Georgia football QB Carson Beck on SEC championship loss to Alabama: 'It eats me alive'
Carson Beck owns a sparkling record as Georgia football starting quarterback with just one blemish on the docket. It came on the first Saturday last December and sticks with him seven months later. So when Beck met with reporters on day one of the Manning Passing Academy in Thibodaux, La.,...
South Carolina’s top commit projected to flip to Georgia football
The Georgia Bulldogs were a major winner in college football recruiting during the June and are now seeking to carry that momentum into July. According to a recruiting expert, Georgia may be well on their way to doing that in the form of flipping a commit from a rival school. 247Sports’ Benjamin Wolk has projected the Bulldogs to land Shamari Earls, a four-star cornerback who is currently committed to Shane Beamer and the South Carolina Gamecocks. Earls is a 6-foot-2, 180-pound cornerback from Chester, Virginia, who has been committed to the Gamecocks since April. Earls recently visited Athens on June 21. Michigan...

Another 4-star is projected to commit to UGA football
Four-star safety recruit Rashad Johnson is projected to commit to the Georgia Bulldogs over the Penn State Nittany Lions, Louisville Cardinals and Texas A&M Aggies. Steve Wiltfong of On3 recently made the prediction. He also predicted Georgia to land another four-star safety. Johsnon, who is a member of the 2025 recruiting cycle, recently pushed back his commitment date from July 1 to July 14. 6-foot-2, 185-pound safety plays high school football for South Sumter High School in Bushnell, Florida. The South Sumter defensive back also plays wide receiver. In his highlights, Johnson displays good ball skills and athleticism. The four-star frequently delivers tight coverage and is a strong tackler. Rashad Johnson is ranked as the No. 360 prospect in the nation, per On3. Johnson is ranked as the No. 49 recruit in Florida and the No. 33 safety in the country. Georgia does not have any commitments from defensive backs right now in the class of 2025, but fans should expect for that to change very soon.Georgia football currently has the third-ranked recruiting class in the nation behind Alabama and Ohio State. The Bulldogs have 17 commitments in the class of 2025.
Phil Steele gives Georgia football the No. 7 defensive line in the country
The Georgia Bulldogs are loaded with talent at several positions as they gear up for a 2024 season with high expectations again for the red and black. Many people see Georgia as one of, if not the most talented team in the country at most positions, including another preseason magazine that gave the Bulldogs a lot of love. Phil Steele's preview magazine gave Georgia plenty of attention in its preseason position group rankings. Steele has ranked Georgia's quarterback room as No. 2 in the country, its running back group at No. 9, its offensive line group ranked No. 1 in the country, and its pass catchers ranked No. 16 in the country.
Georgia baseball coach Wes Johnson on staying in Athens and transfer portal additions

The Bulldog Nation lost a Damn Good Dawg in April with the passing of Don Leebern, Jr.
All of us bring about multiple images as we travel life’s journey, and we will be remembered differently by those with whom we cross paths. For the Payne Hall fraternity of the late 50s, there were some interesting characters with divergent and varying ways. Payne Hall was the athletic...
Georgia Predicted to Make SEC Championship Game
Georgia football has been predicted to make the 2024 SEC Championship game. The SEC will look and feel a little different this college football season as the Texas Longhorns and Oklahoma Sooners have joined the conference. On top of that, divisions are no more and teams will no longer be required to play the same divisional opponents every season. That also means the conference championship game will now be played between the two top overall teams and not the division champs. One college football analyst has already locked in their prediction for the SEC Championship matchup. Paul Finebaum released his...
Georgia football’s remaining 2025 five-star recruiting targets
With last week’s edition of edge rusher Isaiah Gibson, Georgia now has three five-star commits in the Class of 2025. Kirby Smart and his staff have amassed a 17-player class that ranks No. 3 in the country only behind Ohio State and Alabama, but the Dawgs are far from done.
5-star QB commit Jared Curtis 'definitely still a Dawg' after USC visit
Jared Curtis might've raised a few eyebrows when he visited USC a few weeks back, but he's here to help lower them. The Georgia quarterback committed has been pledged to the Bulldogs since the spring, and nothing's changed there. But a few other top programs continue to work to get him on campus. That included USC who hadn't offered yet, but wanted to get Curtis out to Los Angeles so he could offer.
