We’re taking a trip around the world just by going around the block. A global cuisine spot will join the newly formed Locations Restaurant Group, aka the team behind Corto Lima. So, without further ado, say hello to 3TEN .

The concept will take over the former home of Creaux, the New Orleans-themed bar and restaurant that just closed at 310 West Short St. And while 3TEN may not be taking you to one specific region, it will give you a chance to get wide variety of flavors thanks to its expansive, internationally themed menu.

The vibe will be small plates and shareable dishes, introducing guests to a variety of global flavors and a menu of rotating plates with influence from the Mediterranean, pan-Asian, and Latin America.

“I’m going in a lot of different directions and enjoying the freedom of not being glued to a specific concept,” said Chef Jonathan Lundy, a James Beard Award semifinalist . “There’s so much I want to do to make it interesting, fun, and playful.”

To complement Chef Lundy’s desire for a fluid, whimsical menu, his longtime business partner TJ Cox, a certified sommelier, will curate a menu of 30+ cocktails and wines from around the world.

Together, the two have 55+ years of experience working with Lexington restaurants, including ItalX and Roy and Nadine’s , which they cite as inspiration for 3TEN.

3TEN is anticipated to open this fall — we’ll provide more details, like specific menu items, as they emerge.
