Woodlake Man Arrested After Car Accident and Shooting at Law Enforcement Officers
“Woodlake Man Behind Bars After Wrecking Car, Then Shooting at Law Enforcement Officers. Just before 10 p.m. on 7/4/24, TCSO Deputies, with help from other local agencies, were called to the 23800 Block of Avenue 324 in Woodlake for a traffic accident. Deputies were told that someone in the car had been ejected during the accident, but left the scene.
Strathmore Man Arrested for Agricultural Theft
On July 1, 2024, Tulare County Sheriff’s Office (TCSO) AG Unit Detectives were notified of a theft of chemicals from a local farmer in the Strathmore/Lindsay area. AG Detectives began an investigation and identified a vehicle seen on surveillance video parked at a home in Strathmore. Through their investigation, Detectives discovered that 41-year-old Elijio Ceballos was driving the vehicle at the time of the chemical theft.

This Californian city’s new logo completely misses the point
The City of Visalia has been the centre of a messy logo design dispute since early May, and the longer it continues, the more chaotic it seems to get. In case you're unfamiliar with this tumultuous tale, the Californian city replaced its popular 20-year-old legacy logo with a modern minimalist design (much to the dismay of residents). In a bid to please naysayers the old logo was reinstated, but not for long, as the city decided to open up a public competition to redesign the new logo.
