LINTON, Ind. (WTWO) — The annual Fourth of July parade in Linton is postponed for several hours today because of weather concerns.

This year marks the 118th time the Freedom Festival Parade will be held. It’s the largest Independence Day parade in Indiana and will feature more than 100 floats, marching bands, jeeps, clowns, and emergency vehicles.

Participants are now being asked to check in at noon. Judging will take place at 1 p.m. The parade will start at 2:30 p.m.

For those not able to attend the parade in person, WTWO will be broadcasting the entire thing on-air. A live stream of the broadcast will also be available online here on MyWabashValley.com.

For more information about the Linton Freedom Festival including non-parade festivities visit the Freedom Festival Facebook page here .
