He recalls floating face down and being unable to move, thinking he was going to drown. His friends initially thought he was playing until one realized something was wrong. SJ was rushed to the hospital, where doctors confirmed his spinal cord had been severely severed, leaving him without the use of his legs and arms, author of Sj gofundme updated. SJ has been admitted to the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU), where fractured bones were repaired, but the spinal cord damage is deemed irreparable. "We're eternally grateful for the continuous outpouring of support being shown for SJ. Royse City man identified as one of victims in fatal airplane crash
A Royse City man has been identified as one of the two men who died after a small airplane crashed at McKinney National Airport Thursday morning. Gustavo Moreno, 53, of Royse City died along with the pilot, Michael Lewis of Forney. Another passenger, Randy Williams, survived the crash, but with severe injuries. The National Transportation Safety Board says the twin-engine Cessna 414A appeared to have suffered engine failure and the incident is under investigation. The plane was owned by Hunger Relief Ministries of Forney.
