Discovery Center’s Camp Wonder to Return
The Discovery Center at Murfree Spring recently announced the return of Camp Wonder, a weeklong summer camp for Rutherford County high school students with disabilities. This year’s camp will be held from Monday, July 8th to Friday, July 12th at Siegel High School (located at 3300 Siegel Rd. in Murfreesboro). The camp runs from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. daily. The camp fee is $50.

So the way this story goes is that a 37-year-old Nashville woman, who was wanted in three counties for various bad girl activities, got pulled over in Tennessee for driving with a suspended license. Upon search of the car, the police found that she had just picked up quite the large order of Taco Bell. Now I don't have the exact details of this next part of the story, but I'm assuming that the police didn't want the burritos to go to waste, seeing as the lady was probably headed to jail, so they decided to treat themselves to some rather large Cheesy Double Beef Burritos. And upon unwrapping the finely fastened Taco Bell foil and tortillas, it was not the Beefy 5-Layer Burritos at all. It was a sizable amount of meth, LSD, THC and fentanyl-laced gummies, pills and marijuana....

Early yesterday morning, a shed housing all of the Nolensville Youth Softball league's equipment was engulfed in flames, dealing a low blow to the local sports community. According to a NewsChannel5 report, the fire department responded to the blaze at around 2:30 a.m at the Nolensville baseball fields and was met with heavy smoke and intense flames; the equipment within was declared a "total loss."

Vanderbilt Volleyball Adds Two More Transfers
Vanderbilt volleyball head coach Anders Nelson announced the addition of Elli Kinney and Jackie Moore to its roster Thursday. Kinney, of Chattanooga, Tennessee, spent her freshman year at the College of Charleston before transferring to Vandy. A 5-foot-8 libero, she appeared in all 19 matches of her debut season, making four starts as a defensive specialist. During nonconference play, Kinney recorded double digit digs in seven of eight matches, spending much of that time as the starting libero.
