    Burlington Bees cancel game due to weather

    Weather is calling the game, and the home season, for the Burlington Bees tonight.

    A news release from the Bees says the Prospect League game against the Clinton LumberKings, scheduled for 6:30 p.m. tonight at Community Field, has been canceled due to wet conditions and the threat of storms. The game with the Lumberkings in Clinton scheduled for tomorrow, July 31, will now be a doubleheader. The time for the first pitch at Nelson Corp Field has not been determined.

    The rainout brings the Bees’ 2024 home season to an end.
