Motorcyclist dead after crash in Lockport

BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) — A motorcyclist is dead following a crash on Johnson Road in Lockport on Sunday, according to the Niagara County Sheriff’s Office.

The motorcyclist has been identified as 24-year-old Brandon Wilson, of Lockport. He was transported to Lockport Memorial Hospital and then airlifted to ECMC, where he succumbed to his injuries.

Police responded to the area of 4086 Johnson Rd. just before 8 p.m. Sunday, where initial investigation showed that Wilson lost control while traveling southbound, went off the road and hit a tree. He was ejected and ended up in a field.

The crash remains under investigation.
