Town Extends Pool Hours, Makes Cooling Centers Available as Temperatures Climb
With hot and oppressive temperatures impacting our area, Oyster Bay Town Supervisor Joseph Saladino announced that all Town pools will remain open until 8pm today through Friday, July 19th, giving residents the opportunity to beat the heat. All five Town pools, including Bethpage Community Park, Marjorie Post Community Park, Plainview-Old Bethpage Community Park, Syosset-Woodbury Community Park, and the saltwater pool at Tappen Beach in Glenwood Landing, will stay open 11am to 8pm from Tuesday, July 16th, through Friday, July 19th.
