The Lodi Blue Devils faced off against the Jefferson Eagles on Aug.28, after their match from the 27th was rescheduled due to the high heat index. Jefferson left Lodi with a slim victory of 4-3 overall.

On the other hand, the Lodi doubles teams came away with two wins from the second and third ranked teams. Tessa Pertzborn and Vivian Beld played a close match against Eagles Aeryn Messmann and Breleigh Mengel, ultimately falling 7-5, 7-6 (4) to the Jefferson doubles team. The number two team of Addison Crane and Norah Gruel finished with overall scores of 6-0 and 6-1. Lodi’s no. three team had a tighter match with Jefferson’s Emmilia Snyder and Amanda Boucher, but came up victorious 6-4, 6-3.
