Snellville attempted murder-suicide: Police release names
GWINNETT COUNTY, Ga. - Gwinnett County police have released the identities of those involved in an attempted murder-suicide along Glen Summit Lane last Friday. According to the Gwinnett County Police Department, 52-year-old Allen Dumas has been charged in connection with the death of 61-year-old Johnita Weaver. Dumas has been charged with murder, aggravated assault, and possession of a firearm during a felony.

The Braselton Police Department said officers were dispatched at 5:15 p.m. to The LaQuinta Inn & Suites at 200 Kaival Lane in Braselton, Jackson County, Georgia. When officers arrived, they said they found a man in a hotel room with a gunshot wound to his head.
