GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. (KKCO) - Starting Saturday July 13th, Mesa County Libraries will host the traveling exhibition called “We are Water: Connecting Communities”. The new exhibit will be displayed at the Central Library and is open to the publice during opening hours. The opening celebration was held Saturday, offering booths, activities, and prizes all centered around water and it’s importance.
City of Grand Junction Seeks Community Input on Impact Fee Study
The City of Grand Junction is hosting a community meeting about impact fees on Thursday, July 18, 2024, at 10:30 a.m. in the Fire Training Room located at 625 Ute Avenue. An impact fee study is conducted every five years to assist in offsetting the costs of new capital construction such as streets, parks, and public safety facilities. Community participants can also join the meeting virtually.
