I-70 traffic stop leads to seizure of 50k fentanyl pills and 3 lbs of heroin
GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. (KJCT) - A Deputy with the Mesa County Sheriff’s Office (MCSO) stopped a car traveling eastbound on I-70 Wednesday morning for a traffic violation. The traffic stop resulted in the deputy conducting a vehicle search. Search efforts led to the discovery of approximately 50,000 small pills consistent with fentanyl and three pounds of suspected heroin.
