AWAY to present free movie screening event

BECKLEY, WV (LOOTPRESS) – AWAY (Advocating a Way for Adults and Youth – Formerly known as Women’s Resource Center -has announced a free movie screening event set to take place later this month.

The screening, scheduled to be held at the Neville Auditorium on Neville Street in the WVU building, is being presented in recognition of Sexual Assault Awareness Month.

Showings of “Roll Red Roll”, a documentary about how a small town responds to drug-assisted sexual assault, will take place at 3:00 pm and 6:00 pm on April 30, 2024.

The event will serve as AWAY’s inaugural movie night event. Additional information on resources and information available through AWAY can be found at the AWAY website.
