HUNTINGTON, WV (LOOTPRESS) – A man tells witnesses he had killed multiple people and raped women and his desire to do it again.

On August 21, 2024, around 10:09 PM, officers were called to St. Marks Bar at 932 4th Avenue in Huntington, WV, Cabell County. Employees reported that a man was discussing firearms and behaving aggressively toward women, making them feel unsafe. When officers arrived, they found the man, Jeremy Hudson, standing on the sidewalk outside the bar. While talking to Hudson, an officer noted the smell of alcohol on his breath. Hudson was shouting profanities loudly in public. The officer asked him to stop, but he continued to use foul language moments later.

As officers placed Hudson in the police cruiser, he claimed to know where Officer Anderson lived and said he would see him the next day. When asked if that was a threat, Hudson responded that it was a promise. Officers then talked to two witnesses, who reported that Hudson had boasted about shooting people and expressed a desire to do so again. Plumley added that Hudson mentioned having an AK-47 rifle with a 30-round magazine in his truck.

Officer Ball spoke with a bartender who said Hudson claimed to have an AK-47 and a machete in his vehicle and admitted to having killed people. Additionally, he made disturbing comments to her about wanting to rape her and that he had raped multiple women. Officer Ball also spoke with a fourth witness, who recounted how Hudson threatened the bar staff while repeatedly mentioning the AK-47. He noted that when Hudson learned police were on their way, he said the officers were scared of him because of his weapon. He confirmed that Hudson’s remarks caused distress among the patrons inside the bar.

Hudson was charged with terroristic threats, retaliation against public employees, public intoxication, and disorderly conduct.
