The FBI is asking for the public's help locating a teenager who left Arizona on August 5 and flew to Iowa to meet someone she met online. According to investigators, Liliana Munguia, 17, was seen on home security video leaving her father's home in Bapchule, Arizona at approximately 1:30 a.m. last Monday.

Later that evening she bought a plane ticket and flew from Mesa, Arizona, to Des Moines International Airport. Airport security footage showed her arriving there on August 5.

The teen had some brief contact with her family then ceased communication, the FBI said. She was last seen in the Clive and Waukee area on Thursday.

Liliana is 5'2" and weighs 125 pounds. She has black hair, brown eyes and a mole on the left side of her neck. She may go by the name "Lily" or "Lil" and may be carrying a tan backpack, according to the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children.

Anyone with information about Liliana's whereabouts should call 911 or contact the FBI's Phoenix Field Office at 623-466-1999.
