NBA Fans Come To A Consensus On Lakers' Dalton Knecht Pick

There is a lot of anticipation surrounding the 2024 NBA Draft as fans eagerly await the potential arrival of LeBron James' son, Bronny James, to the Los Angeles Lakers. Despite not selecting Bronny with their No. 17 pick, the Lakers managed to acquire a promising talent in Dalton Knecht, a standout college basketball star from the Tennessee Volunteers.

Knecht was widely predicted by experts to be selected within the top 10 picks of this year's draft. However, because of his relatively advanced age for a draft prospect (23), he experienced a significant drop and was ultimately picked up by the Lakers in the first round.

Knecht played one season with Tennessee after transferring from Northern Colorado. In his lone season, Knecht was a consensus first-team All-American and the SEC Player of the Year. He averaged 21.7 points on 45.8% shooting and nearly 40% from three.
