LeBron James Breaks Silence On Lakers Drafting Bronny

The Los Angeles Lakers made NBA history on Thursday with the decision to draft superstar forward LeBron James' son, Bronny James. The father-son duo will be the first of its kind in league history.

LeBron went to social media shortly after the draft to share a one-word message on the pick.

"LEGACY!!!!!!" said James via Instagram

The NBA's all-time leader in points also shared a photo of himself and Bronny way back when he was playing with the Cleveland Cavaliers. He then ended the post with a photoshopped picture of himself and Bronny in purple and gold, which certainly looks surreal.

Bronny was drafted as the No. 55 pick in the second round after his freshman season at USC. LeBron had talked about playing with his son in the later part of his career, but many thought it was just a pipe dream.

Arguably, the greatest player in the history of basketball now gets to introduce his son to the NBA landscape in the same locker room. It's truly an incredible time for the James family as they continue their legacy.
