It's been a big day in NBA free agency, which kicked off in the early hours of the morning with the news Paul George would sign with the Philadelphia 76ers.

Developments continued to emerge as we moved into the afternoon. ESPN's Adrian Wojnarowski reported Golden State Warriors legend Klay Thompson would sign a new deal with the Dallas Mavericks.

According to Woj, Thompson was joining the runners-up in the 2024 NBA Finals on a three-year, $50 million deal that includes a player option.

All over the social media world, sports fans are reacting to the news Thompson will no longer be alongside Stephen Curry and Draymond Green in Golden State. One notable Los Angeles Lakers fan, though, decided to take this opportunity to send a message to his favorite team's ownership.

O'Shea Jackson Jr., the son of legendary rapper/actor Ice Cube, is calling on Lakers general manager Rob Pelinka to make a big splash and get his team back into the mix in a loaded Western Conference.

The Lakers were thought to be one of the contenders to land Thompson this offseason, but he ended up heading to Dallas instead.

Now, look for Los Angeles to circle in on DeMar DeRozan.
