A beloved family dog was killed when a UPS worker hurled a heavy package over a Los Angeles fence without checking to see that the pup was lying on the other side, according to a report.

The 55-pound package completely crushed little Lulu, her grieving owner Naria Harutjunjan said.

“I took the package and I saw my dog, she couldn’t move anymore,” Harutjunjan told KCAL News.

Shocking surveillance footage, captured by a neighbor, shows the UPS driver carrying the massive box toward the house around 5 p.m. Wednesday, and tossing it over the gate rather than trying to reach the recipient or ring the doorbell.

Harutjunjan’s Ring camera picks up moments later and shows the driver squatting and looking toward the gate — seemingly after hearing a suspicious sound.

Rather than investigate, the delivery driver hops back in his truck and drives away without alerting the homeowner.

Harutjunjan went to bring her two dogs back inside her home. Cookie came in immediately, but Lulu was nowhere to be found.

That’s when the dog owner lifted the box to see the horrifying tragedy.

“My neighbors were there,” Harutjunjan said. “They helped me with the dog to bring her to the Mission Hills clinic. But they said, she passed away.”

The heartbroken Los Angelite said she had rescued Lulu a year ago, but that the tiny pup was a beloved member of the family.

“Yesterday, before I went to let her out, I took her and I said, ‘I don’t know, Lulu, why but I love you so much. That was the last time,'” Harutjunjan told the outlet through tears.

Both devastated and furious, Harutjunjan contacted UPS and Amazon, the latter of which she claims facilitated the purchase.

Now she is considering legal action against the two companies and the driver.

“He could kill me,” she said. “He could kill any baby playing here, or killing anybody else.

UPS told The Post it was aware of the situation and plans to investigate.

The delivery agency would not say whether the driver was punished for the action, or if he violated any company protocol by throwing the package over a fence.

Amazon did not immediately respond to a request for comment.

The tragedy is not the first time a UPS driver allegedly injured a dog by hurling a heavy package.

In 2022, a delivery driver was caught on camera hurling a box — which contained a wheelchair — over a gate in Florida.

The driver rode away without warning the homeowner, who told Fox 13 at the time that they never would have known about the incident if they hadn’t checked the security camera.

Fortunately, the dog was left without injuries.
