    USC Trojans Backup Plan Revealed: Recruiting Insider Discusses Contingency If Julian Lewis Flip

    Up to this point, five-star QB Julian Lewis has been unwavering in his commitment to the USC Trojans and Lincoln Riley. Even though he has yet to officially shut down his recruiting, every time he has been asked, he has stayed true to the Trojans and stated many times that Lincoln Riley is best in the business in terms of QB development and he looks forward to playing with him.

    The Trojans and Riley have also been confident in their recruitment of him, so much so that recently it came out that Lewis was the only QB that they had offered in the 2025 class .

    As of now, nothing has changed with Lewis and his commitment to USC, but according to Scott Schrader of On3.com , Riley does have a Plan B just in case.

    According to Schrader, Longstreet did visit a USC spring practice and says that he believes they have continued to communicate on some levels. “If something does happen with Julian Lewis, he’s definitely the guy.”

    Let’s reiterate that there is no reason to panic over Lewis, but it is good to see that the Trojans have a backup plan just in case. In today’s College Football , you really never know until the student officially enrolls.

    The Centennial High School product out of Corona, CA is an extremely talented QB and is currently committed to Texas A&M. During his Junior season last year, the 6’2, 190-pound QB threw for 3083 yards and 24 touchdowns. Aside from A&M, he has offers from Auburn, Oregon, Colorado, UCLA, and 26 other schools.

    To our knowledge, USC has not officially offered Longstreet and remains fully invested in Julian Lewis.
