The 2024 Kentucky State Fair is from Thursday, Aug. 15 to Sunday, Aug. 25.

Where is the Kentucky State Fair?
The Kentucky State Fair is at the Kentucky Exposition Center, located at 937 Phillips Lane in Louisville.
Kentucky State Fair ticket prices
According to the state fair's website, general admission and parking is $9 per person. Those 5 and under attend for free. There are also some opportunities for discounts.
- Military Sunday: Active military and veterans, as well as their families, can attend for free on Aug. 18 after showing a military ID. There's a four-ticket limit and parking isn't included.
- $5 Monday: All fairgoers get $5 admission with parking included on Aug. 19.
- Senior Day: Those 55+ can attend for free on Tuesday, Aug. 20. Parking is not included.
- Sensory Awareness Day: Free admission and Thrill Ville tickets will be given to those with sensory processing differences on Wednesday, Aug. 21 in partnership with Kissel Entertainment, the FEAT of Louisville, Home of the Innocents and the Kentucky Autism Training Center. Rides will operate with minimal lights and sound from 10 a.m. to noon for those with sensory sensitivities.
Fairgoers can spend $8 per person to add on the World's Championship Horse Show, taking place Aug. 17-24.
How much are wristbands at the Kentucky State Fair?
A wristband for Thrill Ville, with access to more than 50 rides, is a $31.25 add-on with ticketing fees to admission costs. It offers unlimited rides for one person for one day. A VIP wristband is $51.50 with fees in addition to admission for one person for one day. Ride height restrictions still apply.
How much is parking at the KY State Fair?
Standard vehicle parking is $12 at the entrance gates at the Kentucky Exposition Center for participating events, according to the venue's website. Parking can also be purchased online for $10.60.
Kentucky State Fair 2024 entrances and directions
According to the state fair's website, there are multiple ways to get to the 2024 Kentucky State Fair. It's recommended to use Gate 2 or 4 on Crittenden Drive or Gate 6 on Preston Highway to avoid heavy traffic.
Gate 1
Gate 1, the Main Entrance, is located at the intersection of Phillips Lane and Freedom Way.
Gate 2
Gate 2 is at 3901 South Crittenden Drive.
Gate 4
Gate 4 is at 2801 North Crittenden Drive.
Gate 6
Gate 6 is at 3328 Preston Highway.
