Totty reflects on growth, progress in first season with Wynne Yellowjackets
WYNNE — Clay Totty said the 2023 season – his first at Wynne – was a time of growth and learning for him and the Wynne Yellowjackets. “I know the kids more. We got to have a stable off-season. We really didn’t get to do that my first off-season here,” he said. “You certainly see the benefit of that. The kids are stronger. They’re improving their speed and their flexibility. We’re getting up to a standard that we want as far as how we practice and how we work and those type of things. We’ve still got a little ways to go in some of that stuff. We’re not to where I would say we’re a fine-oiled machine. We’re not to that point yet, but we are making progress.”
