Another ACC Coach Receives Contract Extension Through 2028-29 Season
On Thursday, Clemson announced that it has extended men’s basketball head coach Brad Brownell’s contract through 2029 in a five-year deal worth $20 million. Brownell, who began his head coaching career at UNC Wilmington, has been the head coach at Clemson since the 2010-11 season. He led the Tigers to the NCAA Tournament in his first season with the program, and has been to three additional tournaments since, including last season’s. Last year, Brownell led Clemson to the Elite Eight as a No. 6 seed, taking down No. 2 Arizona along the way.
