New Police Chief in West Union
Friday morning, July 19, at 9AM West Union Mayor Linda Oliver swore in Sergeant Benjamin Hailey as the new Chief of Police for the Town of West Union. Jeff Richardson resigned his position effective on Wednesday July 17. Corporal Jeremy Kennemore will be promoted to Sergeant effective July 29.

On May 13, an NC SBI agency network received an email with details about how their network had been hacked.
