Commissioners approve no truck route near Union
Residents of College Road, just south of Union, hope an ordinance for a no truck route on their street will make a difference. Franklin County Commissioners voted 2-0 Aug. 8 to approve the route on the portion of College Road the county maintains, from the intersection with Highway 47 to just west of its intersection with Prairie Dell Road, where the city limits begin.

Pursuit of carjacked vehicle ends in north St. Louis Co., one person in custody
ST. LOUIS, Mo. (First Alert 4) - One person is in custody after police pursued a carjacked vehicle overnight in north St. Louis County. The vehicle was taken in the city and was pursued until crashing into parked cars near St. Louis Ave. and Edmund. At least two people were inside the vehicle, but just one was taken into custody.
