It won’t be hard to spot Avery Johnson on or off the field this season in Manhattan.

Not only does the Kansas State quarterback have unmistakable long blonde hair that is visible even when he wears a football helmet. Now he has a car that is just as recognizable.

Johnson is now the proud owner of a lavender Corvette that you won’t find anywhere else in the Little Apple, thanks to a NIL deal he has with Long McArthur Luxury.

The car dealership, which is based out of Salina, delivered the sports car to Johnson this week and shared some pictures on social media of him driving his new ride around the parking lot at Bill Snyder Family Stadium.

“When one of our athlete partners requested a custom, one of a kind Lavender Corvette, we made it happen!” Long McArthur Luxury wrote in a social media post. “Avery Johnson will be riding around in style this football season! Who’s ready for the season to start?”

The sticker price on a 2024 Chevrolet Corvette starts at nearly $70,000 and goes up closer to $90,000 depending on trim and options. Of course, that doesn’t take into account the added cost of getting the vehicle in lavender.

Johnson is set to take over as K-State’s unquestioned starting quarterback as a sophomore this season. As a freshman, he threw for 479 yards and five touchdowns to go along with 296 yards and seven touchdowns on the ground.

He is expected to be the face of K-State football for as long as he remains in college. Now he has a flashy car to get him to practice.
