Massachusetts City Listed as One of the ‘Worst Places to Rent in America’
My wife and I rented an apartment in Western Massachusetts from 2006-2011. It was a fun time in our lives. With the exception of internet and cable, we paid only $625 per month with everything included. Granted, it wasn't a very big apartment and we were very limited on what modifications we could make but it was great to have extra money and little responsibility.

The storm claimed nearly 150 lives in a town of about 5,000 residents at the time, leaving 43 widows and 155 fatherless children.

LETTER: Writer urges focus on children’s space in Library
I am writing to express a few thoughts regarding the recent renovation project at our library. I had the opportunity to visit the library this past weekend with my family during the Arts Festival. We toured the open sections of the library and were amazed by the beautiful work that has been completed. I have such fond memories of my hometown library in Michigan which was completely rebuilt when I was in preschool. While I appreciate the effort and investment put into updating various sections of the library, I believe there is more work to be done. I was saddened to see that the children’s area was not included in these renovations.

Happy hour was banned in Massachusetts in 1984. The law was put into effect because of a young girl who lost her life in a drunk driving accident.
