Fans pack Polar Park for Fourth of July festivities
WORCESTER -- It was a packed house at Polar Park on Thursday night, as almost nine and a half thousand fans filled the seats, the berm and every spot in between for the Fourth of July celebration. Although the game on the field wasn’t much to cheer about, but the place was still packed for fireworks as the crowd celebrated the nation’s birthday.

Meet the region’s three American Legion baseball teams
REGION – Summer baseball is here. American Legion Baseball, which dates back to 1925, brings together almost 50,000 players and over 2,900 teams from across the country. The players range from high school freshmen to 19-year-old rising college sophomores.
