Popular South Shore barbecue spot is shutting down
[This story first appeared on Boston Restaurant Talk.]. A South Shore spot known for its barbecue is in the process of shutting down. According to a source, Fetch BBQ and Catering in Marshfield has closed the walk-in/takeout part of its business, while its catering operation will shutter next month. A Facebook post from the Ocean Street spot mentions the following:
Field hockey wins gold at camp
The Dragons fared quite well at the Bentley University elite camp run by College Connections. Participants spent the day practicing skills with their teams and played games at night within their pool. Duxbury was undefeated in pool play and prevailed in a shoot-out in the championship game on a clutch goal from Caitlin Hussey. Duxbury won the gold medal after finishing undefeated in the pool. State: No Pilgrim Wastewater To Enter Cape Cod Bay
Communities around Cape Cod Bay are praising a decision by state regulators last week to block Holtec International from dumping up to 1.1 million gallons of industrial wastewater into the bay from the former Pilgrim nuclear power plant in Plymouth. State officials determined that Cape Cod Bay is a protected ocean sanctuary where waste discharge is prohibited.

The company promises one thing and does another, exploits regulatory loopholes, and exercises its political clout to secure taxpayer subsidies for its private profit-making ventures. This is nothing new.
