Assistant takes reigns from legendary Abington football coach: 2024 Green Wave schedule
Abington High School's football team will be entering the 2024 season under new leadership for the first time in 50 years. Assistant Ed Reilly was named the program's next head coach in December, 2023, and will follow the legacy of Jim Kelliher, who retired at the age of 75 after winning his last game: A 46-6 win over Whitman-Hanson on Thanksgiving. The creative minds of five DeMello Elementary School students served as keys to success as they transformed old computer keyboards into new homes for plants.
